I shrug and take a ready stance.

"Interesting actually. I figured you were not what you seemed. Hence my being so open about myself."

Now let's see what you can really do babe.

I power up a bit...and then throw an energy ball at her, with myself following immediately after. If it hits, it will explode with enough force to blow up a car. If she bats it away or dodges it, which I'm expecting, I will strike her accordingly.

If she's open, I will strike her shoulder with a kick, and block her counter kick or punch while backing off.

If she's closed, I strike her ankle with a kick or strike her exposed midsection with a punch. The leg is if she's somewhat guarding her midsection, the midsection punch if she isn't. I get ready for to block her attack and my own counter should she try to punch or kick me directly. The counter would be a grab for her extended limb which I then put into a twist and pin. If she doesn't go direct but around, I merely block and see what she can do.

I really am being grateful here. "So...want to see a presentation of what I can do? I'm sure your wondering what being 'kung fu action Jesus' entails." I grin at my weak attempt at a joke.

"I was told to get as much information as possible."

My mother was _raised_ by constructs whom she still considers her parents in every way that actually matters. _And_ history was apparently parallel enough to give us the story of Pygmalion and Galatea, making the name one of the most popular for people making forays into the wide and varied realm of animation. She relaxes. "So if you had to guess, what would you think I am. Be detailed."

I figure thats my Cue to take Galatea back to the House and relax. I need to clean up from Breakfast (and consider lunch), and would like to get to know her.

Also, a trip into town to visit an All You Can Eat Buffet is on the cards.

Mainly, getting to know my new Mate.

So, once we are back at the house.....

"So, I gave you my story, whats yours?"

She sighs and sits back. "I'm a clone of Supergirl created by Project Cadmus, a formally pseudo-independent branch of SHIELD dedicated to giving Earth a defense if and when our superhero population goes rogue." she replied, "They realized this threat after Superman was brainwashed by Darkseid and attempted to aid him in the invasion of Earth. Besides Supergirl, we didn't have anyone on hand strong enough to even give them pause. She was injured in the battle, and aware of the threat, some of her DNA was collected. I was created using it. That's about it."

She looks over. "So what's your story?"

"Yeah, that so answers the personal details..." she leans forward. "Look, it's going to take three months of co-habitation for us to qualify for an annulment so we have plenty of time to figure out if we want to stay married. Personally I don't know. I don't know you. I don't know shit really..." she throws the orders she's still carrying onto your table, "And frankly that one eyed asshole just pulled my entire world out from under me. So start talking."

"Well" I shrug "Not sure what you want to know. I mean, am I willing to give this a try? Absolutely! You are beautiful, you can be gentle, but you are properly strong and I saw how much you were enjoying our sparring. which means you have a Warrior's Heart. You are my Mate, I am Yours. It's that simple. If someone tries to get between us, I'll punch their head off and blow up their house......well, punch them out and hang them by their ankles, nude from a signpost in a busy intersection.....I'm not allowed to just kill someone for pissing me off.....thats going to take a bit of getting used to."

Well, then. This calls for shopiiiiing~

Using whatever vehicle is available to me, or bus if I don't have any, I go to the nearest publix. A little expensive for my usual expenses, sure, but I don't want to dissapoint the wife by going to a cheaper place, like walmart. Speaking of:

"Hey Galatea" I say as we travel to the nearest publix "You know, I haven't asked yet, but what are we going to do about this marriage? I mean, you're sticking around while I go get more groceries and stuff, so I am thinking that you want to see how this goes. But a fella ought not presume, so I ask."

Through out all of this, I feel for the elements around. See which ones give themselves to be bended, and which ones won't. I was never one for elemental balance, a part of me says there is no such thing, but if I have to get behind confecius ideas to preserve the world, so be it.

I blink at the professionalism, but I shrug and head out back, "Follow me then."

Once I get there I take several buckets full of water I'd filled for such an occasion and went through every technique I could think of with the water.

Then I went on to the Earthbending giving all I got, standing my ground ready to hit hard at the perfect time to strike.

Then on to fire and airbending, keeping the proper mentalities for both.

When I finish I sigh and turn to Tea, "So...what did you think?"

As I had thought, she dodged. Then countered. Not unexpected. Though I was hoping for close quarters. No matter.

Boost my speed with ki and leave an after image that gets hit. I'll be under and behind her, then see about flying upwards with kick to the back.

You have a beat to hell old van. Thing probably has more rust than metal and is kept together with wire, duct tape, bondo, and prayer.

Hmmmm... start giving me dice rolls to go with your actions.

As for what she does, she manages to twist around and block your kick before responding by letting gravity cut in and dropping to the ground. If you give her the chance she then kicks off hard enough to cause a small crater in a charge back up in an attempt to hit you with a massive punch.

I was created in response to Superman being brainwashed by a crazy extra-planetary dictator named Darkseid. He tried to take over the world. "At least they try..."

You have a beat to hell old van. Thing probably has more rust than metal and is kept together with wire, duct tape, bondo, and prayer.

It would have been held together by spit instead, but there was a deal on used home depot items you see. It was called "hit up your buddy that works at home depot who magically turns up items at a fourth of the usually price on his garage and buy it from him while trying to not ask too hardly about where he got the stuff from".

Well, not quite... you can feel the elements yes but its not like you're seeing the colors of the wind.

This isn't Pocahontas.

"Damn right it isn't"

"Alright, then I'll make sure to be presentable." I assure her.

I go back in to clean myself up and find something semi-decent. Then I wait with Tea in the living room.

Psyckosama wrote:"Yeah. And when you have mortal gods walking around how do you make sure they don't go crazy or try and take over... I was created in response to Superman being brainwashed by a crazy extra-planetary dictator named Darkseid. He tried to take over the world. Then a year later he was tricked into helping a White Martian plant argue for large scale disarmament claiming that he'd protect the Earth... and we're still cleaning up the wreckage from that mess and rebuilding our military forces and nuclear deterrent to per-accord levels..."

Charming. I probably shouldn't point out that they already are crazy because the only sane course of action in that case _is_ taking over.

Instead I counter with: "It seems as though you're trying awfully hard to justify something to me."

"At least they try..."

"Considering the subjective nature of good and evil, that never did and never will fill me with any kind of confidence whatsoever."

Pause.

"So, have you decided what to do with my remains yet? I was always partial to the idea of cremation and burial at sea."

Very true... and considering the amount of dirt on it, its probable that you're also using some degree of Earthbending to keep it intact... :p

"Later today... I have a rather invasive job."

"You're not helping."

"Don't I know it."

"Alright, then I'll make sure to be presentable." I assure her.

I go back in to clean myself up and find something semi-decent. Then I wait with Tea in the living room.

About a half hour later two entirely bland men in black suits show up.

Probably for the best.

Instead I counter with: "It seems as though you're trying awfully hard to justify something to me."

She glares.

"Considering the subjective nature of good and evil, that never did and never will fill me with any kind of confidence whatsoever."

She gives you a look.

Pause.

"I'm not going to kill you. My boss is probably going to want to employ you."

She glares.

"I'm just saying there is not need to. The facts are the facts. What's done is done. Adapt, endure and overcome. That's life."

I blink.

"Well, barring time-travel, but that's more trouble than it's worth."

"Considering the subjective nature of good and evil, that never did and never will fill me with any kind of confidence whatsoever."

She gives you a look.

I return it. "Intent is all well and good, but what you actually _do_ tends to be what ends up mattering."

"I'm not going to kill you. My boss is probably going to want to employ you."

"Interesting. I always did enjoy a good set-piece."

I sigh.

"Then, as that appears to be out of the way for the moment, shall we speak of the multi-ton albino shark in the swimming ... oh, no, wait, you use 'elephant in the room' here. Sorry. That."

Raise left hand, ring finger and all.

"So what do you want to do now?"

"Well I guess we could tell each other a bit about ourself. Likes, dislikes that sort of thing."

"Would you like to start first or would you prefer me doing so?"

About a half hour later two entirely bland men in black suits show up.

"Ah so you must be Ms. Galatea's co-workers. Afternoon gentlemen, I'm Arrluk." I offer my hand to shake theirs.
