Meka Tac - City Attack! Empty Meka Tac - City Attack!

Post by Ravenfeast Wed Mar 12, 2014 1:43 am

I'm planning on running a city attack in 6mm/1:300/1:285 scale using the Meka Tac rules, with Batteldroids/Battletech and Mekton figures. It'll be an 8 players, 2 bots each affair.

Any recommendations on terrain; specifically modern and science fiction buildings?

Thanks!

Well, what exactly are you asking for?

I could make some suggestions but you need to be more specific.

In general though, your printer is your friend. Massive maps can be made using card stock models at a reasonably low price.

I'm specifically looking for modern and scifi city buildings in 6mm/1:300/1:285 scale for miniature wargaming; resin, plastic, pewter, and plaster preferred, please.

I have an old Geohex Battlescape flocked hex-mat to use as a base. Hexes seem to speed things up considerably verses open table, so all the terrain will be based to fit on a 1-and-a-half-inch hex grid.

Rivers and hills will be easy enough to fabricate using plastic card and EPVC "pink" and "blue" foam insulation sheets. Trees and turf  are available at the local model railroad shop. Unfortunately, the smallest RR scale is "Z" - 1/220, otherwise I'd start there for buildings.

Thanks!

I'll have to dig around a bit for ideas. I'll let you know what I come up with.
