Though, somehow I can't shake the feeling the two of them would look best in well-cut business dresses.

"Asna" comes from the Exalted setting, where "Asna Firstborn" is the first so-called Pattern Spider, and progenitor of the rest; they're a mix of god and automaton tasked with keeping reality running by maintaining he Loom of Fate, which handles many of the basic rules of the world, like gravity, or causality or the like. My Arachne here might not strictly speaking be the progenitor of the species, but she'd be responsible of "recreating them anew", in a way, so it kinda fits.
Though I'll probably still try and come up with something better for a nickname.

Well, if they start selling their silk and poison in large quantities, the potions might become affordable. Stealth-related magic means they could become excellent scouts in the army if they joined, especialll combined with their mobility (assuming they can walk up walls/ceilings as normal spiders can), and depending on the versatility of their illusion-magic, work as entertainers, or providing "special effects" for theatre-plays and the like might also be possible.

"While you need to keep focus and control your power, this is not wizardly but sorcery. You do not say spells and chant rituals, you reach for the raw spirit of the magic, force it to obey your will, and unleash it upon your does. And remember, your powers are of Darkness and Fire and Chaos. Passion, rage, desire, and hatred are your ally... they give your strength and greater focus, but if you lose control of your emotions, you will lose control of your magic... and if you lose control of your magic... it will be released in unexpected ways."

OOC basically... Orderly magic is like wizard spells. You speak the magical words, perform the magical ritual to control the elements and an effect happens. With sorcery you take the raw elemental power, smash it together, and throw it at the other guy... Kinda like Magicka... with all the pitfalls there in.

it's hard for me to RP someone frantic since I've never really gotten to state like that in RL, when i'm distressed i feel numb more then anything when it comes to emotions.

I freeze in place at the whatever the hell is pressed against my neck touches my skin. my breath catches in my throut and my mouth goes dry as thoughts of what would happen he decided to follow through race through my mind.
