Once the dust settles, I glare at the skinny jack ass. Now that I knew who 'Ruby?' was and why she was so upset, I couldn't help but sympathize with her predicament. With courage I didn't know I had and don't think was really there I strode closer to the throne and once I had his attention said, "You know where I come from, there is a fellow much like you, cunning, clever, fast of wit, feet, and hands, he could run mental circles around anyone he knew and could change the course of a fight with but a word. He could make cunning plans with such diabolical subtlety and skill that none ever knew even a tenth of his plans."

If he seems interested I continue, "He got his ass kicked on a monthly basis by a barrel chested, blonde haired, blue eyed golden boy who dealt with all his problems with a three step plan.

Step one: Whack with hammer
Step two: Whack with hammer again
Step three: Summon the elemental power of thunder and lighting with his warhammer that was forged in the heart of a dying star by the greatest smiths that ever lived and ever will live, channel said force and fury in said hammer...and bludgeon problem until it stops being one."

I grin letting the implication sink in.

Then I turn to the young lady, "Are you alright?"
